Wealthy teenagers from Manhattan fear of the mysterious gossips which are closely monitored and spicy stories about their life published on his blog.

The series follows the turbulent life of the group of high school students from rich families who attend an elite private school in New York City neighborhood of Manhattan. She's beautiful and rebellious blonde Serena van der Vudsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf attractive (Leighton Mister) are best friends, and occasional rival. The two split a big mistake that Serena has done in the past, and that she can not forgive Blair. Apple of discord was the fatal Nate Archibald, the golden boy with the Upper East Side, sometimes torn between two best friends. His opposite is even Bas, womanizer and antihero, who does not shy away from anything that would finish the race. In their selected company at the beginning of the school year comes atypical family of Rufus Humphrey.
